IRB Brasil RE

Challenge: IRB Brasil RE decided to start the Journey to Cloud by migrating some legacy systems to Azure, but they did not know exactly which systems would be the best candidates and how the migration with the least impact would be made.

Solution: 4MSTech made the initial assessment of the environment, supported the choice of applications to be migrated and set up the migration Business Case with Microsoft. The project included the migration (Rehost) of approximately 20 virtual machines to Azure, running Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, Sharepoint and legacy systems, using Azure Site Recovery (ASR). Oracle Database was migrated from an AIX server using Oracle tools and SQL Server was migrated to a Managed Instance (Refactor) using SQL Server tools.
